We introduced classroom jobs on Monday! Every child will now have a job at school. Our jobs include - Line leader, door holder, supplies manager, table wiper, meteorologist, electrician, caboose, messenger, pledge leader, and a few others. Talk about your job and ask them if they remember what their job is this week at school.

It has been such a crazy fun first week of school.
We have been busy learning all about school, learning the routines, and working on following the school rules.
Next week we will focus on what it means to be a good friend and part of our school family.

What a great first day!
All the children did wonderful learning all about 4K. We read a book about the first day of school, learned a chant about lining up, and worked on holding a pencil. We will continue learning all about rules and expectations for building a caring school family.
We now have 22 children in the morning session and 17 in the afternoon. I also have a new assistant in the afternoon, because we gained a few more kiddos. Here name is Mrs. Tubbs. Make sure you say hello and welcome her to our school family!
Just a friendly reminder to dress your children so they are ready for play!
* It can be chilly at times - make sure they have a jacket or sweatshirt
* Girls should wear shorts or leggings under their dresses
* All children should wear tennis shoes to school
Mark your calendars for Tuesday October 3rd! This will be our first field trip to the Apple Orchard. We would love to have parent chaperons! If you are interested in joining us, please complete the Hortonville background check as soon as possible. More information will follow.
I will post pictures of all the children hard at work once I get all the media release forms signed - So please send them in if you have not done so already!
