This week were are talking about feelings.
We started the week reading
My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss.

Making class books are always a hit! The children enjoyed describing their feelings using color.

Some of the children made the animals from My Many Colored Days to help retell the story.

Ask your child if they had a chance to play the feelings game and what type of feelings faces did they make.

We got new table spots!
Ask your child if they remember who sits at their table.

Many of the children noticed the new number lines on the table.
During snack time, they practiced pointing out the numbers they recognized.

We painted our hands for our turkey prints.
We matched and colored letter turkeys.

We rolled a turkey!

It was great to see so many of you at conferences!

Last week, the children had a great time talking about their families and creating stick families,

making paper bag houses,

and learning how to draw people.

We also worked hard as a team to make a tower taller then us!

We will continue to talk about families this week, and we will also be talking about pets.

Please remember to send in your family photos, pet photos, and turkeys to school :)
